Re: Pressurizing the water system on a '66 Sportsman
That is correct. I am going to all the trouble of replumbing and fixing, I don’t want to watch water dribbling from the top of the tank inlet. These trailers are pretty good, just need a little attention. I saw a new airstream price of $212k. Makes me feel I can give this one a little attention.

Re: Pressurizing the water system on a '66 Sportsman
I just pressure tested the fresh water system on my '89 32S cause I'm replumbing with pex. Plugged all the holes and used water and dish soap. Found the spiral groove fresh water fill was the big leaker, the inner spirals don't seal when clamped. So what I did was use aquarium silicone sealer on the...

Re: Replacing tub drain flange in a 1988 34X
Just an fyi. I'm replacing the tub drain on my '89 32S. The oem is 1 1/4" which nobody makes, or like hens teeth. There are kits to replace the drain with the trap, that is special to this application. Recpro is one, etrailer has another I think. The problem is their kits use 1 1/4" and 1 ...

Good info here. I ordered the filter and plug both on a whim, hoping they would work. I think they will after reading here.

I wondered about that decoration. Is there a horizontal seam that it protects or is it for looks?

Thanks for the info Tom. Here is a link to the video where I was introduced to recycling gray water. I didn't know it could be done prior to watching this.
