I've had good success with epoxy when a knob splits like the one in your picture. Another source should be people who have swapped out their vents for other brands. Does it spin by hand? If so, check that you are getting 12V power from the switch. If not, try soaking the shaft in a rust buster liquid. If you just can't spin it at all, it's likely the motor is shot.

When you are connected to city water, you can open that valve and back-fill your fresh water tank, the one that runs from your 12V water pump. It will back-fill from the bottom of the tank and eventually run out the side water fill on the trailer. Be sure to hang around and cut off the valve as soon...
