Yes I saw that. MorRyde only makes the TO108-002 now, but interestingly the manufacturer was $50 less per spring, so I got it from them.

The trailer I recently acquired had its suspension replaced with torsion ride axles with 22 degree drop angle. It lifted the trailer up a bit but that is fine for my needs as Avion trailers are too low IMHO. He used 5000# replacement axles with 16.5" wheel with 6 lug pattern. His choice of tire was a truck load range E. This is similar to what an Airstreem trailer has. I think this is the one of the best upgrades for an Avion trailer. Another plus is no need for shocks.

I would be happy to take some picture for you if you like.

This link explains the torsion trailer axle vs springs.

Hi just wondering how you got on with your suspension, I've just bought a twin axle 1971, so would be interested to know if you'd managed to locate any spare Moryde parts? thanks Kevin

It's been a long time, my neighbor didn't have time so I had to find someone who I trusted could do the job. Found a great shop, they came out and temp welded it so I could drive it to their shop, dropped it off Tuesday, Should be a 2-3 weeks I am guessing based on their load. They are going to fix the one side and reinforce the other as well as swap out the springs I purchased.

I did replace the shocks on the good side, the ones on there were completely flat and what I believe attributed to this.

That’s good news, were the rubbers available direct from Morryde? Thanks again
