Inserting A Picture/Image
Let's try this again....
clicked insert photo, selected attachment, found what I wanted, selected the file, selected place inline and the photo rotated 90 degrees left
Went to windows explorer, rotated the file 90 degrees right, saved it and tried again.
Same results. Let me know if I was doing something fundamentally incorrect.
Thanks

Re: Inserting A Picture/Image
Problem diagnosed, now, can it be fixed?
Pics shot with my cell phone oriented top to bottom get rotated 90 degrees left.
Pic shot with with a horizontal orientation come out normal.
The forum software has trouble recognizing vertical vs horizontal orientation and automatically rotates something shot top to bottom incorrectly translates that it needs to be re-oriented.

I'm at a bit of a loss. I saved your image, rotated it, and then submitted it to my prior message. Seems to be fine.
To help diagnose what's happening, when you submitted your image was it from your desktop or phone?
Also, on my screen your image is rotated 90 degrees to the right. Is it different on yours?

Was just curious. My iPhone pics do crazy stuff too when I post them directly to the forum. I have learned to send them to my laptop, then I rotate (if needed), save it, then post it to the forum.

Re: Inserting A Picture/Image
I don't see any reason to continue to pursue the problem. I have to do is rotate my camera 90° to the left.

Re: Inserting A Picture/Image
Rotating the phone is the easiest fix. Another option when using your phone is to save the image as I did above, rotate it, and then resubmit the image.
From what I've researched, the issue is with certain phones and not the forum. It would be nice, however, if the forum allowed pics to be rotated. I'll search around for a mod and see if it's something we can add.

Thanks. But, if I'm the only one complaining about it I was suggest not wasting anymore time on it.
