That's a great idea, Silverloaf. That would add about 12 feet of additional length to a straight wire run, so on a 12v circuit depending on the amp draw the wire may need to be bumped up a size. I like that idea though and will have to keep it in mind.

Maybe not. The original wire would have crossed over at some point, possibly between the ceiling and roof skins. There might not be a need to upgrade to larger wire size than OEM.

Good point. Aside from the exterior lights, I imagine the wires probably run across the shell and not below the floor.
