Microwave removal cabinet space
My '89 32S had the original Magic Chef microwave, still good condition but I haven't used one in 30 years so I removed it with the thought of making cabinet space. Was going to put a door on it to match the other cabinetry then thought better of it. The door off the bathroom was going to be cut down...

Drape re dye
Here is the before and after shot. This is navy blue. They were kind of a grungy blue greenish with some discoloration. The blue brought them back to life. Was thinking about making some and had this dye handy. Could have been a better color but it is what it is. Just transport yourself back to the ...

I guess there is a downside to the Engel, no drain. But I plan to fix that.

Re: Awning support support
Can’t link at the moment, from mcmastercarr used these two part numbers for most of the riveting.
Sealing blind rivets
97524a149
97524a033
Either would work, one is 5/32 the other 3/16 and probably overkill.

Re: Composter toilet and wall removal
I was really surprised at what the wall removal did for the interior. I repurposed some wood from the door way and used a dowel rod stained to the correct color so it almost looks factory.

I had a Engel 12V chest cooler/frreezer available when I pulled the original 2 way. Have no regrets so far.

Awning support support
Re the awning on my '89 32 footer, where the support meets the shell was getting pretty damaged so here is what I did. Using .063 T6061, I used as a plate to go between the arms and shell, there are structural pieces at the junctures that can be tied into, which I'd suggest if possible. The rivets a...

Composter toilet and wall removal
On my '89 32', I removed the wall and that made a big difference in the room available, both bathroom and hallway. I am going to hang a curtain amidship for privacy. The 'composter', is a nature's head. First I capped the tank with a 3" mpt plug, then tapped that for a 1/4" mpt to 3/8"...

Re: Wood Stain Match?
Funny that should be asked. I just went over the woodwork in my '89 32 footer. It has the reddish tint to the wood work, the wood may be birch, I can't really tell. I went down to menards and picked up a can of minwax polyshades gloss pecan. Couldn't have had one better custom made. Used a rag to to...
