Re: 1975 28ft. tow weight?
I agree. I think the EV range limitations are real, even when not towing. Speaking of old technologies :D, tonight Toyota will unveil the new Tundra (at 9:30 pm EST, to be exact). I'm hoping they keep the 5.7 V8 (at least in the lower trims. They are introducing a turbo V6) and offer a hybrid option...

On 78 models, there are 2 shocks per axle. See the attached photo of my 1978 26-H.

Re: 1975 28ft. tow weight?
Must admit, this F150 lightning is very impressive! I'm not a big fan of Tesla's Cybertruck (Looks hideous, IMO). But this f150 looks great, is really fast, handles great, and weighs 1000# more than an average 1/2 ton pickup (Extra weight helps with stability when towing). And 39K price tag is reall...

Re: Avion H-26 - Replacing Shocks
I also have a 26-H so I'd be really interested in the outcome of your research :) Wanted to replace the shocks whenI bought my trailer 6 years ago, but the shocks seemed fine, hence, I've continued to use them. Back then, someone suggested taking one shock off and taking it to a truck shop to find t...

Re: 1975 28ft. tow weight?
I'm considering getting a smaller truck. So I'm considering the weight of trailer in that decision process. For the record I have torsion axles rated at 5000# each with the 5000# brakes on each axle with 16.5 E rated tires. I have really good confidence in the trailer. I currently have a 2009 3/4 t...
