Re: New fans
Looks good, Texasunit ! We’re looking at doing the same thing on our 73 Travelcader. Our vent holes are 18”x18” though, so we have to come up with some sort of reducing flange. I know there is a guy offering custom made flanges for around $140 a set. It appears you’ve solved this problem. What route...

Re: Exterior Rivets
Salty , would you recommend using something a little easier to remove for the non-permanent riveting to be done, and save the CherryMax rivets for structural things. For instance, if it were you, would vent covers and the like that may need to be replaced someday might be better off with a standard...

Re: I need some guidance please!
Hmmm... On original 80's Avions with a 30 amp system and a single AC, I believe the Microwave is on it's own breaker, the AC is on it's own breaker. The remaining receptacles are on a single 20 amp breaker. It's a ring. they're all connected in parallel. @@Justin How did you resolve your problem? Sa...

Re: Exterior Rivets
Thanks for the advice. What gun are you using? It looks like it’s mentioned above a standard rivet gun will work, but most of the reviews and information I’m finding online state that you need a special gun to pull cherrymax rivets due to more force being needed.

Re: Exterior Rivets
A few posts up it is mentioned that these rivets work with a standard rivet gun. Is that not the case? Or are you just saying before we actually use those rivets we should think about how permanent the piece should be.

Re: Looking for rear left (shower) inside skin
Thanks for the sources! I was actually talking to the preacher at my church, who happens to be an international airline pilot by trade and is redoing a vintage airplane. He mentioned that he had a source locally who had fabricated a couple of skins for the interior of his plane. He didn’t seem to th...

73 Travelcader Windows
Ok everyone, sorry to bombard the forum with questions, but I’m having trouble locating one particular gasket for my style of windows. First off, can anyone help identify what style my windows are? I know they’re a Hehr style, but I can’t find a number stamped into the frame, and according to the ch...

Re: Opinions on resealing trailer top
Awesome. Thanks Razorback . You’re right, it’s a bit of an eyesore up there. When the time comes to start up there, I’ll give it a good pressure washing and see where we stand. It’ll probably be next on the list after trying to get the windows redone. The previous owners covered every opening with d...

Re: Front window material
As an update to this, all of the other side windows (kitchen, dinette, above the bed) are PPG tempered glass, but apparently original as they have 1972 printed on them and the trailer is a 73. I read in the manual under the "Care and Cleaning" section that the front curved windows were ori...
