Thanks for the bondo suggestion. After applying the etching automotive primer to bare aluminum, my plan is to apply bindi and sand, followed by Zinsser Smart Prime over the old Zolatone before a final coat of a one coat latex by SW. starting on the interior restoration this week.

Moved our ‘66 to a local Amish man to have some welding done on the tongue. Once this is done, she’ll be towed home where the interior renovation begins.

I made roller shades using a silver metallic cut velvet. But I’ve decide they were too bulky and am making them out of a metallic mesh like fabric with liner.
