update: looks like there are two unused slots in the 12V panel and the mysterious device under the bed was a water leak detector.

Looking into adding this now as part of our bedroom reconfiguration. I don't believe we have one currently aside from some sort of device with a 9V battery and no other markings on it which was located under the bed by the water heater. Are the Avions not wired for LP detectors from the factory and ...

Yea, that would be better especially since we changed our plans for the bed size/frame and simply extending the duct wouldn't work anyway. But I haven't found a square to round adapter in 4" in my searches
