Axle tags were in too bad of condition to be able to order by serial number. Used axle order sheet furnished by Dexter to measure all the key measurements needed to duplicate axles. They are on order. Will take 4 - 6 weeks and I'll have this 34V back on the road.

Where did you order your axles from? Dexter is telling me my axle tags do not have enough numbers. Do all 1989 Avions use the same torsion axle?

Will do. Sent Dexter pics of the axle tags today. They are researching if they still have records to duplicate my axles. Hopefully they do.

Have been contact with Dexter. They can make based on serial number on the axle, if I can find it. If not they will build based on measurements that I have to furnish.

They have collapsed due to age. KO-Lo axle rubber is only effective for 15-20 years. These are bottomed out with no travel.

Just purchased a 1989 34V. I had the torsion axles that need replacement. Anyone have a source for replacement axles?

Buying a 1989 34v. Previously a few back had a 1983 34V. Good to be back in a Avion.
