Re: 1987 34W - Complete list of bearing/race/seal numbers for 12" Dexter Adjust-a-Ride suspension

I would greatly appreciate that. Anything to help make the trailers transformation easier is good in my book.

Re: Pictures of my new project

Thanks, I might need it  I did find the power and water door tucked away in the trailer though so that one is fixable fairly easy. The hinges being just bent aluminum fingers should make repairing it not that difficult as long as they haven't been reeled on until they break. The rear door is ...

Thanks for the list. I am going to have to do that as well. Along with new tires. Still running the 7.0 15's that looks like the trailer came with :?

Brakes

Has anyone tried/done a brake conversion to electric disc brakes on their trailers? Is it even possible? I have found a kit for my boat trailer and was just wondering about the travel trailer.

Update of Pictures of my new project

Here are some pics of my project. Starting with the port side, (I'm an ex captain so it's easier for me to explain sides this way :) ). As you can see this side needs some work. Where the water heater should be is missing the cover and has some rot where other owners allowed it to leak. Thus the rus...

Re: 1981 34v manual

That year is of course one of the year's missing in the Documentation forum. I'm not sure it would have the detail you may be looking for anyway, but hopefully someone has one. After texting with another on this forum I'm pretty sure the 1981 and 1984 are very similar. Maybe not exactly the same bu...

Re: Tow vehicles

Being a new 1981 34v owner I use my old boat hauler, a 1995 4 door long bed f350 with a 460 and a 5 speed. Granny on this thing tops out at about 6 mph. Built to tow but still has issues with the hills here in Alaska. Very seldom get out out of 4th gear which means about half a tank to go 70 miles. ...

Rock guard

Anyone have a source for a rock guard that fits a 1981 34v? I am in search of many parts including covers for the storage areas and some lower ones as well, even a new step cover/ system. I really want to get the old girl back to her formal glory. I'm impressed by the build quality of this trailer a...

1981 34v manual

Anyone have a manual for a 1981 34v they would like to share? I have been looking on the net but I haven't been able to find one. I really need to see the layout of the systems of the trailer as the one I am restoring has numerous issues that will need to be addressed. I am hoping to do that without...
