I'll have to pull it out at some point as well, and replace it with pieces of rigid foam board to surround the tanks. I'm surprised they didn't do that to begin with.

While fastening loose spots along the underbelly of my new 30R, I noticed some fiberglass insulation in the proximity of the holding tanks. I just picked up my 30R from Canton, OH a couple weeks ago. If you're willing to go on a road trip there is also a 30R in South Dalota for cheap.

That's a great idea and I'll have to do the same. My new Avion is missing the welded loop and instead has a pair of old rusty bolts and washers attaching the chain to the underside of the tongue. I was going to fasten new bolts to the side of the tongue, but Chuck's solution is much simpler.
