Paul, thanks for the shocks info. Very useful. I'll probably order one in Spring and see if it fits. If yes, I'll get another 3. Visually, the shock looks to be a match. Here are a couple of photos of (3 coats of) POR-15 applied to the wheel well area, axles, springs, and stabilizer bars. Need to snap photos of Aframe and the rear bumper as well. Just curious, did you run the furnace nonstop? And what was the temperature inside your Avion? Nice photos BTW!

My spare is in the rear hatch, on the left side. While it might not be the best arrangement as far as weight distribution is concerned, it does allow for fully using the right side of the rear hatch for storage (grill, tools, etc). Personally, I would not worry much about the weight distribution for...
