This is on my to-do list. A couple of Q's: After you remove the gasket, do you clean the area and if so with what? Also, what do you use to attach the new Gasket?

I think I found my answer on Facebook forum. Cayo sells inserts that go into the 18" X 18" opening and allow a 14" X 14" fan to be installed.

The door window on my 1978 Avion is also not glass. I though that was factory, but now I'm not sure!

Removing stickers
Hi folks, I am trying to remove the Travelcade stickers and numbers from the shell (they were in really bad shape). I used a heat gun and a flexible putty knife and got the plastic off. But there is a residue left. I used acetone and it helped get the residue off, but it takes a LOT of effort. I was...

$200-$300 seems pretty reasonable. Please posts photos when you are done as your photos are very helpful and I usually refer to them! BTW, I also changes the AC gasket per your post on Yahoo forum

I did the exact same thing in the summer! I covered all seams (horizontal/vertical) with parbond sealer. The roof seams were already covered with Eternabond tape. I think next spring, I'll focus my attention on belly pan.
