What has been eating up your free time lately???

Mine???? Our 1969 Falcon Futura wagon's heater core decided to leak profusely. On these old cars, it seems that they built the vehicle around the "heater box", which might also include the A/C coil..... ours does. I have the heater coil replaced and the heater box is nicely restored (after...

Re: 34P and weight dist hitch

I will take a stab here.... You could get away with not having a weight distribution system since you are just towing it home. It's not going to be loaded, obviously. Just be careful. What, exactly are you buying? Is it a 3-axle trailer, or 2? I am asking because to my knowledge there wasn't a 34P m...

Re: MORryde axle/suspension

Started getting my ‘67 Travelcader road ready and came across this forum. Wow! What a source of info and just a fun site to read. I want to replace the shocks and have found something close, but it’s an automobile shock. Would this be sufficient? All suggestions welcomed. Thank you for joining us.....

Re: Stabilizer jack replacement

Good advice.

Can you provide the item numbers and where you purchased them? That will likely help someone in the future.

Re: QC2 Water Filter bracket.... "antifreeze diverter"

I have a feeling the part-time filters are just smaller, 1/2-size. When I blow the lines with compressed air, it gets most of the water out of the filter, then I remove the filter, turn it upside down over the sink, and shake a few more drops out. In the picture below, you can probably see how it fi...

Re: QC2 Water Filter bracket.... "antifreeze diverter"

Since the filter hangs vertically it holds quite a bit of water. I open the water line drains, blow out the system with air, then remove the filter and blow the system with air until it is good and dry,.... no more drips blowing out of any of the fixtures.

KYAvion wrote: Fri Dec 30, 2022 6:49 am Looks good. This is for your water purification system?
Yes.... this "plug" goes into the water filter fixture after you remove the filter itself.
