Leaf springs for our 1987 34W

Post by Razorback »

When we got home form our trip to Baton Rouge I noticed a broken leaf spring behind the right front tire.
I haven't done anything yet to determine what/where to order a replacement, short of looking at Dexter suspension doc.
Does anyone here have any suggestions based on their past experience?

I recall replacing one curbside spring on our 30-P in 2017. It wasn't broken but it fell outside the pivot point centerline specs. It wasn't much but it did indicate the spring was softening.

I did a lot of research back then. Springs are spec'ed out based upon the width, number and thickness of leaves and the centerline dimension from the pivot points. I vaguely remember the centerline being in the area of 28"-29". I suggest looking at the dexter doc to see what springs fit the criteria. Once known, you can shopping based on quality and price.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

I vaguely remember there might be a part number stamped into the main leaf.
