Insulation

Post by Larno »

Hello.
Let me introduce myself. I'm Arno, a 60-year-old Frenchman with very limited English...
I live in Florida, near Chipley, in a 1989 Avion 3-axle camper, 10.6 meters.

I have 3 questions:
- how do I know the type of my 1989 Avion camper, 10.6 meters?
- is this model still insulated on the walls, as I have the impression that the walls are hollow and empty, with no insulation?
- I'm trying to find people who have injected expanding foam into the moral partitions, without removing the inner sheet metal... but through small injection holes...?

Thank you for your feedback. 🙏

Arno

My understanding is that your Avion has spray foam in the walls, and foam board sandwiched between 2 layers of plywood for the floor. My 1984 is done this way.

To determine the model number, the identification plate that is riveted near the left front lower edge will show the model info…. Or…….. describe the layout of the interior, then we can probably tell you what model it is.
Also, look in the documentation section…. There should be a 1989 sales brochure that you can download/view.
