A few “new” things
A few “new” things
Yesterday I soldered a connection on the Instrument Signal Panel. Got it working! Today I installed a new water pump and got it running.
However, as I filled the fresh water tank my indicator only registered up to 1/2. As water was coming out the overfill tube the indicator still said 1/2.
I pulled the dipstick and stuck it into a wiskey bottle full of water (emptying the bottle was a great time, by the way) and adjusted the depth randomly. The instrument panel registered 0, 1/4, and 1/2, but never higher.
Has this been an issue with anyone? How did you get it rectified?
Thanks.

Re: A few “new” things
Oops, I looked it up in the owners manual, which is original and came with our purchase, and found 0, 1/4, and 1/2 is all the fresh water tank registers.
Man, do I love this thing!
Enjoy the day!

Re: A few “new” things
Glad you got it figured out. I would have thought a 3/4 reading would have been there too.
You mentioned yours has a dip stick? I believe mine just has sensors in the side of the tank. That's nice that yours is removable. What about the indicators for the water level. What does it look like?

Yes, my “dipstick” is removable. There are four sensors within the grooved portions of the four sides. Each one is a different length.
My curiosity is 4 sensors with only 3 readings. 0, 1/4, and 1/2.
I’m assuming one knows the tank is full as water pours out the overflow and our only knowledge comes when the tank starts losing water to the 1/2 point. Maybe?
The switch on the Instrument Signal Panel needs flipped in order to see the 0, 1/4, or 1/2 illuminate. The switch does not stay “flipped”. It resets.
Here are some pic’s, hopefully.

Great looking trailer. You have a pic of your instrument panel? Maybe the sensor for 0 on the dipstick could be moved to the 3/4 position?

Re: A few “new” things
The owners manual states those are the indicators. 0, 1/4, or 1/2. I’ve experimented with it. Once the dipstick senses water the 0 illuminates. As the water volume increases a faint “1/4” starts to show as the “0” starts to fade. Eventually the 0 disappears as the 1/4 becomes dominate. So it goes with 1/2. Pretty cool.
Now I’m looking to solve my toilet holding tank issue at the same time looking for an awning and brackets. Hoping to locate OEM.
Is there a location where I can find parts?
Thanks
