Bathroom Exhaust fan

Post by Kep »

Well I tried to see if I could make the fan work but when I touched the fan it crumbled.

Any sources for these. I think Airstream used them too.

I can't tell if this is it.

If the opening is sized right, any of those should work. My 84 doesn’t have a 6” fan. Instead it’s got a larger square one. I haven’t measured, but it’s probably 14 x 14. If you don’t want to stick with the 6”, depending on the location you may be able to put in a MaxAir with cover.

I put in two fantastic fans already. So I'm more looking for a replacement. I found one new on eBay for $50 and free shipping. I just hope it is a drop in replacement. My flange is metal and sealed very well.

Well I got the Fan and it seems I will need to use the entire fan as the fan assembly is riveted together.
I will try to use the metal cover from mine as the cover on the new one is a smoke acrylic plastic that will rot in the AZ sun. I'm going to try mounting it this weekend.

Attn: I did notice that there is a drain hole that will need to be orientated so as to face the down slope to permit proper draining. Here is the one I selected.
