Nice secluded spots at Hunting Island in SC
I highly recommend spot 182 in Hunting Island state park as its away from the fray and you can’t see another camper from here. It has been a bit a rainy, but cozy nonetheless.

You’re trailer looks great. Did you replace the torsion axles? It looks like you have a good amount of positive angle on the axles.

Thanks. No the axles are all original. If I remember reading right the 89-90s have different axles maybe than the earlier models so that may or may not contribute to ride height. The 16” wheels and 225s raised things up a bit.

Yes, your trailer came with torsion axles. I replaced them on my prior 79 Airstream, which wasn’t that difficult of a job at all. You can read more about the angle of the torsion arm and possible implications here...https://inlandrv.com/dura-torque-axle-article/
