Avion 34V tire size

Post by Avion4us2 »

Anyone know the tire size for my 1979, 34ft. Avion trailer? Funky 25 year old bias plys on there now. Not going anywhere on them! Is it 225/75-15's or maybe 205/75-15's?

Your tires should be ST225/75R15. They originally came as load range D.

I think the ones I have now are load range E.

Thanx ...I am looking online for them now. Ebay is a good source with free shipping. I will call the local tire shop in the small town where the trailer is currently stored and see what they want. It is a convenience vs cost on that one. Online they are around $400 for all 6 wheels with free shipping. Then there is mounting at my location. It should be interesting.

Check out Discount Tire before going to Ebay. It's true you might save money up front. However, if you purchase their road hazard package, you get lifetime balance and rotation. In addition, you can go to any Discount Tire nationwide if you have an issue. Consider what you would have to do if you need to warranty a tire through Ebay.
I went into Discount Tire intent on buying D rated radial tires. They convinced me to go to E rating at no extra charge.
