New fans
New fans
Finally got some new fans. I originally wanted Maxxairs but I was on a budget and was restricted to buying off of eBay which offered no good Maxxair deals unfortunately. A little louder than I wanted but definitely a huge upgrade. The install went smoothly and I’m planning on putting eternabond over all of the edges but still need to clean up a bit before I do that. Anyway hope everyone is well!

Re: New fans
That looks like a nice improvement. We have a similar Fantastic Vent fan in the front of our Avion and like it a lot.

Re: New fans
Looks good, @Texasunit! We’re looking at doing the same thing on our 73 Travelcader. Our vent holes are 18”x18” though, so we have to come up with some sort of reducing flange. I know there is a guy offering custom made flanges for around $140 a set. It appears you’ve solved this problem. What route did you go? Thanks!

Re: New fans
Fortunately for me the fans on my 84 were 14 x 14 so I only had to cut the rounded edges from the previous fans square to make the new ones fit. But I’ve definitely seen a few posts about the custom flanges that you’re talking about on here somewhere. Best of luck!
