Heated hose
Heated hose
Made a new heated hose today out of 3/4” HDPE pipe, Pex fittings, aluminum foil, and heat tape. And yes, what appears to be sloppy ends on the electrical tape was intentional so I can remove it easily if needed.

Re: Heated hose
Sounds like you are embarking on some serious cold weather camping. Are there enough campgrounds open that have running water to camp sites in below-freezing conditions?

Re: Heated hose
This is at some property we own at the Red River Gorge in KY. I use the Avion regularly throughout the winter there.
Winters aren’t bad—usually no less than 0, and that’s a rarity. That said, I’d like to make some storm windows and possibly a skirt someday.
