Finally got the most difficult FRP wall up. The angle bend in the outside wall and curve towards the ceiling made all this lots of “fun”, but it should be downhill from here. In the end, making the exterior wall shape the shower surround does make the shower feel bigger, but that was a ton of work.

Glad these panels are all done. Using poster board templates made this much easier. The only real hiccup in this step was that I had to seam another panel in the roof because the total length from the floor was > 8’, but it made installing the recessed LED lights easier. 3 1/2 weeks till our trip. I better get busy

Final dimensions on the alcove are 31” wide and 34” deep at the deepest point. I lost about 6” of usable space on that side of the bathroom to accommodate the walls and conceal all the plumbing, but with the storage area gone it still feels a bit more open than before.

Nice lights. Mind posting a link to where you got them?

Thanks for the link. I thought they were larger than 2.75” diameter. I’ve been considering replacing the overhead lights throughout the trailer and I was thinking of using 4” lights, but a smaller size may actually fit the space and low ceilings better.

I spent this weekend on electrical and plumbing hookups so far, and will post some updates on that soon. For now, I have the shower side about done except for the vanity over the sink, which will have to wait until after our trip, Also, the lower panels on that side are in, but they can be removed for easy access. The under sink area will have an IKEA based drawer set eventually, but for now it’s just a filler face place without the drawers.
