Hi all. I posted in the new member threads saying I'd start a new thread with what could be a purchase for you. If possible, please leave honest feedback for me. This will be our first trailer (had to get an Avion once we found out it's stellar reputation!) It's an '86 25H mid bath rear bed I believe but was manufactured in July '85.

So, here's the pics! Some are posting upside down but if you click them to make larger they turn right side up.

What’s the asking price?

$10k but negotiable. I think it's overpriced compared to those I've seen online that are much fresher. From a few years ago, but still...

Agreed. It’s rough for 10K. Body is in good shape (no dents), but the finish is rough. Trim is rough, and it looks like one pic has duct tape on a window? Interior may be nice, but plan on some floor rot up front, by the door, or in the rear. Based on the exterior, I’d plan on new fridge, furnace, A/C, batteries and converter, water pump, water heater, etc. Those things add up, and then there’s the little things like the exterior trim, getting the skin looking good, etc. If it was pretty much ready to roll with maybe a couple issues here or there I’d jump on it at 10K. But with the worked needed, offer 6K?

yes duct tape. She claimed it was to keep sand out at Burning Man. Several windows had it. Told me its been three times. :? :o

Perhaps. Wonder why she didn’t tape the horizontal seams and panel seams since the caulk is missing. Still trying to figure out that 8K investment into the trailer. Maybe she’s including the trailer price, yearly taxes and insurance, and the upholstery work.

I don't think anything is "new" :D It looks huge from the outside and I thought newer modern units were slimmer or less tall?

Some new ones are more low profile, and some aren’t. The wood grain makes me think that unit isn’t particularly new though.
