1989 Avion 28A for sale. Only two owners have used this Avion. This trailer has been stored all of its life, and, has been only used a few times. This trailer is (IMHO) the best example of the best travel trailer ever built. A & E awnings all around (now Dometic). New A/C. New fantastic fans (three of them). Three-rail-frame of 6” tube steel. 16” Michelin 10 ply. Load range E tires and 16” wheels. Independent suspension axles by Alko-Kober. Huge aluminum propane tanks. Electrical system completely revamped with off-grid equipment (US made). Five stage converter/charger/inverter 2000A. AGM sealed Trojan batteries moved inside. See control panel in photos. Interior completely redone with commercial vinyl plank flooring and Pendleton fabric. We call it the bunkhouse! Storage galore, including basement storage. Couch shown in the photos is a Flexsteel couch/bed. We are asking 47K – it is worth much more, but, we will entertain reasonable offers. This trailer tows like a dream! (5400 lbs.!, dry weight) It is definitely a collectors’ item. Rear twins no longer suit us. One mattress is a custom the other is an air bed (with controls and compressor).
