Hello everyone, just bought an Old Avion trailer and looking forward to working on it.
Could anyone help me identify what model, year and where to find the VIN number?
Found a riveted tag beside the door: Serial number FH-31006 and Model I-31

Hi, and welcome to the forum!
The I-31 indicates a 31-foot Imperial. Not sure of the year. Hopefully someone can tell from the serial number.

Thank you. i hope someone can help out..... Serial number is the key, I just don't know what it means???? I don't even know if Avions have VIN numbers?

Got you an answer!
Those first two letters are year designations. Count the letter's alphabet position and use that as a digit:
FH = 68..... so yours is a 1968 31' Imperial! It was the 6th one made.
