First outing of 2018 is in the bag
We spent this past Thursday through today at nearby Beaver Lake's Horseshoe Bend Park.
It is a typical COE park, most sites only have electric connections with water nearby, no sewer connection. Due to rain and colder weather, a lot of the park was empty, but we had a great time anyway. We met some friends from church there.
Since the park is close by, we went back to town Saturday and picked up a friend to spend the night with us Saturday night... she needed to get away. Had a nice time... got a lot of walking done.
Crazy weather this Spring. Could easily be 90 degrees at times by now, but it was freezing last night, 26 tonight. Not sure it made it to 50 today.
