Entry Door U-Channel trim

Post by BWavion »

Does anyone know of a source for the U-Channel trim, maybe like a plastic or vinyl that is in the entry door frame opening? It's more like a trim around the metal door frame, not on the door itself, but the base frame the door closes on. Mine was very brittle and I guess glued on, but I got it all off, and wanted to replace it. Mine was a light brown or tan in color. I would call it a U-channel, and its thin, maybe a 1/2" channel depth. Im just rebuilding the area around the door so it will seal correctly. Also need other weatherstripping for the door area. Its a 1978 Avion 34V

Thanks...

Would you post a pic of the area you are referring to?
